Maryland Man Confesses To Eating His Roommate’s Brains, Heart

Alexander Kinyua

Alexander Kinyua, 21, confessed to murdering his roommate, Kujoe Bonsafo Agyei-Kodie, then eating his brain and heart.
The Morgan State University student was reported missing last week. The gruesome crime was discovered when Kinyua’s family came to visit and found the remains of a human head and two hands in a container in the basement. According to the Post, they left the room and when they returned, Kinyua was washing out the container.
Once Kinyua, who also attended Morgan State, was questioned by police, he confessed to dismembering Agyei-Kodie with a knife, then eating pieces of his brains and his entire heart before dumping the remains in a trash bin.
Kinyua was charged with first-degree murder on Wednesday.
This cannibal attack comes mere days after Rudy Eugene, 31, was shot by police after he was discovered eating 65-year-old Ronald Poppo’s face on a Miami highway. Even as Eugene was hit by repeated shots, he kept gnawing at his victim’s face, whom sources say is now barely recognizable. He had to be shot at least six times before he stopped, Newsone previously reported.
In the same week, Wayne Carter, 43, stabbed himself repeatedly then threw his skin and intestines at police officers who responded to his call that he was going to hurt himself. Police went through two cans of pepper spray and nothing stopped Carter, who eventually had to be subdued by a SWAT Team.
In both instances, drugs were suspected to play a part, specifically “bath salts,” a potent LSD-type designer drug called that causes users to have super-strength and feel no pain.
