STONE MOUNTAIN, Ga. (AP) — A grand jury has indicted a DeKalb County man in the death of his 4-month-old daughter from last year.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office says Keith Furlow was indicted Thursday on felony murder and cruelty to children in the second degree charges. He was accused of providing his infant daughter with a bottle filled with baby formula and vodka.
Furlow’s daughter was taken to Egleston Children’s Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. A toxicology report confirmed a blood alcohol concentration level of .1119.
The incident occurred last year at a home in Stone Mountain, Ga.
