Rapper 50 Cent Hospitalized After SUV Crashed With Mack Truck!
Hip-hop mogul 50 Cent (pictured) was hospitalized and released early Tuesday morning, after being injured in a vehicle crash. The performer was rushed to a nearby hospital, when his bullet-proof SUV was rear ended by a Mack truck on a Long Island expressway in New York, reports his website Thisis50.com.
over upon impact, was struck at around 3:00 a.m., when the truck driver reportedly lost control of his vehicle when his loader shifted.
50 Cent, whose actual name is Curtis Jackson, was taken on a stretcher to a nearby Queens hospital with injuries to his back and neck.
The truck driver also sustained injuries.
According to a source who spoke to XXL and who is close to 50′s G-Unit camp, both the rapper and truck driver went through a battery of testing at the hospital and were released. “He’s fine,” the source said about 50’s condition. About the driver, the source said, “He’s good.”
Only last month, 50 was hospitalized for food poisoning. He claimed to have gotten violently ill while overseas in London. When he arrived in the States, he became so dehydrated after throwing up that he had to be placed in a hospital. After undergoing some tests, doctors discovered that 50 had a clogged small intestine, which resolved itself after some much-needed rest.
