Tracy Morgan (pictured) is not feeling very funny these days. The comedian reportedly fell so ill in Colorado Saturday night that he was taken to a local hospital, where he was treated for flu-like symptoms and dehydration. Morgan was scheduled to perform at a Denver venue that night but canceled his show when he took ill suddenly. Upon his release from the medical facility, Morgan felt so debilitated that he actually needed wheelchair assistance to transport him to his flight back to his hometown of New York City at the Denver airport, reports TMZ.
On Monday, the 43-year-old tweeted:
Tracy Morgan @RealTracyMorgan
Feeling a little better.. had to call in sick on Saturday. I’m sorry I had to cancel. Love you Denver. I’ll make it up to you.
According to Morgan’s rep, who spoke to E! News, Morgan had the flu before he left for Denver.
Wasn’t it only a few months ago in January that Morgan fell ill and collapsed while he was being honored at the Creative Coalition Spotlight Awards dinner at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah? At the time, Morgan’s reps said that “exhaustion,” coupled with “altitude,” explained Morgan’s sudden illness.
