A mother allegedly left her baby inside of her hot automobile as she enjoyed four margarita’s in a restaurant in Oak Cliff, the Daily Mail reports.
Jessica Christian left her car windows slightly open for nearly a hour, according to a police report cited by the Daily Mail. The child was noticed by a passer-by who realized how humid it was outside. The temperature inside of the car reached 83 degrees.
Police was quickly called and treated the child for dehydration. When Christian left the restaurant, she initially told the officers that she briefly left the child inside the car to pick up a takeaway order. But a bartender produced a bill showing that she had been side of the establishment much longer. The mother was arrested and charged with child abandonment. Her son is in the care of his grandmother
